I first heard “Disco Love” earlier in the week but wanted to wait til, naturally, Saturday to post it. Since then, it’s quickly become one my favorites and I’m chomping at the bit for The Saturdays to debut an accompanying music video. Definitely much better than their previous single, “Gentleman.” This has HIT written all over it for the ladies.

Disco Love” is a pure pop song with a slight disco vibe. At moments it reminds me of Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” but much better. The chorus is extremely strong and catchy. The lyrics are even better with Britney Spears, Bee Gees and Donna Summer references. Here’s an example of the track’s poppy lyrical genius.

We got the disco love, so fun and colorful
It’s never winter when it’s Donna Summer all year long
You take me back in time, to 1999
We hit the DJ playing Hit Me Baby One More Time

Hopefully, this is just a taste of what’s to come from The Saturdays’ upcoming effort. With already two singles released, “What About Us” and “Gentleman,” yet no news regarding a release date for their fourth studio album, I’m getting extremely impatient. I just adore Frankie, Rochelle, Una, Mollie and Vanessa. Check out their kick-ass new single below.
