Well, well, well! It seems as though the people behind the Real Housewives of Atlanta are casting a gay version of the show, set in New York, but no network is attached to the idea yet. Beth Bigler from True Entertainment sent out the following email:

I’m looking for the hottest young, fabulous gay men NYC has to offer for an upcoming docu-series. These boys need to be living the good life, keeping up with all the hottest shopping, restaurants, and clubs, and preferably have lots of drama keeping them busy at all hours of the day…and night. I’d love for them to be in a relationship, and we’re looking for diversity in those relationships – especially younger / older dynampics.

Danny Barclay: Wanna be actor whose wife is a fancy lawyer.

Darryl M. Bell: Used to be on A Different World (Dwayne’s friend) and is now married to The Cosby Show‘s Tempestt Bledsoe (Vanessa).

Grant Reynolds: His wife is the host of Good Day L.A. and American Idol Extra.

Billy Ashley: He used to play for the Dodgers, and now helps his wife with a skin care line.

Charlie Mattera: Used to rob banks, but now raises a son named Ryan.

If you’re in the United States, you can watch the first episode on Hulu. Otherwise, like I said, the show starts on August 15th on Fox.
