The original Fab 5, Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, Carson Kressley and Jai Rodriguez, sat down with their new counterparts to discuss all things Queer Eye For The Straight Guy. They covered several topics ranging from why the show is relevant now more than ever to the Fab 5 brotherhood and advice to the new cast.
“Our new Fab Five will forge relationships with men and women from a wide array of backgrounds and beliefs often contrary to their own, touching on everything from LGBTQ rights and social commentary to how to make the best farm-to-table guacamole and more!” according to Netflix.
Unlike the original series which ran on Bravo for five seasons from 2003-2007, the reboot ditches New York and heads down south to Atlanta, Georgia.
The new cast includes Bobby Berk as the design expert. Are You The One? MTV alum Karamo Brown takes on culture, while Jonathan Van Ness tackles personal grooming. With regards to food and wine, that task goes to Antoni Porowski. Lastly, Tan France is the group’s fashionisto.
