You can thank Carole Radziwell for inspiring this post. I was watching “The Real Housewives of New York” the other day and the newbie housewife talked about one of the funniest moments in game show history. It was none other than the infamous “butt” moment on “The Newlywed Game“. When host Bob Eubanks asked the wives where the most unusual place they’ve had the urge to have whoopee, one of the contestants said, in the “asshole”. Obviously, the answers he was looking for were locations and not body orifices. LOL.

It’s those kind of unscripted moments that made the game show a goldmine of hilarious moments. Watching the clip, inspired me to search for other funny responses on the show. Given that it was the 60s and 70s, there’s a certain naivety from some of these young newlywed wives. The three clips I’ve embedded below involve condiments, decade length and being rural or urban. The latter is LOL funny and by far my favorite. The blond chick just cracks me up with her back and forth banter with Eubanks. Check them all out below.
