Smash Returns… Sorta

While the making of Bombshell dominated Smash during its entire run, it’s The Hit List which was introduced in the second season that’s getting new life. The fictional Broadway show that won seven fake Tonys on the NBC show will receive an actual real-life world premiere. On December 9, two performances of The Hit List will be performed at 54 Below in New York. Jeremy Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez, Andy Mientus who all appeared on Smash will star in the live show which is co-presented by Season 2 showrunner Joshua Safran.

“HIT LIST, a modern fable about identity and the price of fame, tells the tragic love story of a wannabe pop singer who transforms herself to become a star and the hidden songwriter she uses to get there – but at what cost?” – 54 Below

54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club, is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife. Tickets are $55 plus a $25 food and beverage minimum. The two shows will begin at 9:30 and 11:00 pm. Check out clips from Smash and a 54 Below promo below.
