Can we just give Elisabeth Moss her second Emmy now? I wouldn’t be surprised if the 35-year-old actress repeats for brilliantly playing Offred. For that matter, I expect The Handmaid’s Tale to match, if not exceed, its haul of eight Emmys from its inaugural run. The first look at Season 2 of the Hulu drama looks pretty darn fantastic.
During the show’s Television Critics Association panel it was revealed the second season will “be focused and shaped by the pregnancy of Offred and her struggle to find her daughter inside the nightmare that is Gilead.” Executive producer and writer Bruce Miller previously told EW he suggested “a bottle of scotch” to prepare for viewings.
The Handmaid’s Tale kicks off its 13-episode Season 2 on April 25. Check out the trailer below featuring a creepy cover of Buffalo Springfield’s 1967 classic hit “For What It’s Worth.” #eerie
