Good news for The Good Place. NBC just renewed the cult favorite for a fourth season. No official word on the number of episodes, but it’s safe to assume it’ll be 13 just like the other three seasons.
“Congratulations to Mike Schur and an exceptional cast and crew, all of whom collaborate to create a thoughtful, mind-bending and hysterical series unlike anything else on television,” NBC co-presidents of scripted programming Tracey Pakosta and Lisa Katz said in a statement. “We can’t wait to see what unexpected stories the new season will bring.”
The Good Place stars Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, D’Arcy Carden William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil and Manny Jacinto. This season saw the crew returning to earth for some hilarious adventures. Season 3 has been averaging 2.8 million and a 0.8 demo rating. As you can see, it’s not a ratings powerhouse, but beloved by critics and its cult following.
The Good Place airs its last episode of 2018 this Thursday and will return mid-January to finish off its Season 3 run. Do you watch the NBC comedy? I do but am several episodes behind. Weigh in below.
