‘The Curse Of La Llorona’ Produced By James Wan Debuts Terrifying Teaser Trailer

It’s clear James Wan wants to scare the crap out of us. He’s already given us Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring, Annabelle and The Nun to name a few. His latest fright fest will no doubt give us the creeps as well. Who knows what goes on in that head of his 🙂

The Curse of La Llorona is based on the timeless Mexican legend about a Weeping Woman who is caught between heaven and hell. She’s a horrifying apparition who lost her children and now cries while looking for them in the river, often causing misfortune to those who are near, or who hear her. La Llorona creeps in the shadows and preys on the children, desperate to replace her own. As the centuries have passed, her desire has grown more voracious … and her methods more terrifying.

The Curse of La Llorona stars Linda Cardellini, Raymond Cruz, Patricia Velasquez, Marisol Ramirez, Sean Patrick Thomas, Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen, and newcomer Roman Christou. Wan executive produced it with Gary Dauberman and Emile Gladstone. Michael Chaves served as director. It’s his feature directorial debut.

The film is scheduled to be released on April 19, 2019. Check out the trailer below.
