From James Wan, the director of Insidious and Saw, comes a super scary looking “Based On A True Story” movie called The Conjuring and the first trailer has just come out.

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville, New England. Based on a true story, The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. I like that the trailer doesn’t reveal too much about the film (which is rare these days) and more so just sets the tone for the spookiness we can expect in the film.

The film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, and Lili Taylor. The film is scheduled for release this summer on July 19. Check out the first trailer below!
