Super doesn’t even begin to describe the latest movie trailer for “The Avengers“. It’s beyond super. It’s effin’ supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Up until now the plot for the highly-anticipated film has been on serious lockdown. And while we see some new footage, the storyline is still shrouded in a cloud of secrecy. All that we know is that Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has assembled a band of superheroes together to stop an unexpected enemy threatening global security and safety. Plus Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans make the perfect Chris sandwich. As if we needed a trailer to figure that out.

The new clip heavily features Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man which make senses since his super hero flick has made the most box office money. The other actors Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Samuel L. Jackson all get their brief moment to shine. Ever since Samuel L. Jackson turned up at the end of 2008′s Iron Man to say, “You have become part of a bigger universe“, comic book geeks (guilty as charged) collectively hoped May 4, 2012 would get here as quick as possible. Hopefully, the Josh Whedon-written and directed film lives up to all the build up. Check out the trailer below.
