While Canada is currently auditioning for their first ever The Amazing Race (around the country…not the world), the U.S. has just revealed the cast for what the 22nd season on the hit show. Eleven new teams have been announced and although there are a few handsome fellows this year, there are no gay teams.

As always, there’s a mix of different connections between partners, ages, and occupations to name a few which of course always makes for an interesting season. From country singers to professional hockey players to roller derby moms to YouTube Hosts – there’s a little bit of everything in store for us this season.

Teams will travel more than 30,000 miles, over five continents and through nine countries as they skydive from 10,000 feet in Bora Bora, participate in a Shemozzle race in New Zealand, hunt for scorpions with the Bushmen of Botswana and scale the treacherous north face of the Eiger Mountain in Switzerland. The season premiere is on February 17 at 8/7c on CBS. Check out the new team pictures and mini-bios below!
