Call me a sap, but this has to be the most adorable thing ever. At the very least the cutest clip from Taylor Swift. The 23-year-old country singer just debuted the music video for her duet with Ed Sheeran. “Everything Has Changed” is the latest single lifted from Swift’s 4X platinum-selling fourth studio album, Red.
The concept of the music video is fairly simple, but it’s absolutely engaging. The rom-com-like clip features two kids resembling a mini Taylor and Ed. From eating lunch together in the playground to pretending to text each other on their fake iPhones, every scene is too cute for words. I found myself silently “awwwwwwwing” practically every other second. My favorite scene though is when the girl lays her head on his lap while he reads Nicholas Sparks’ The Notebook. Totes adorbs.
In an M. Night Shyamalan-like twist ending, we find out that Swift and Sheeran are actually the parents of the two inseparable best friends. Watch the video below and try to catch all of Taylor and Ed’s quirks in their mini doppelgangers.
What do you think of the clip? How perfect were the two kids they cast to play the younger versions of Taylor and Ed? If you want to see them sing this duet live, they’re currently touring together and perform it at each concert stop. Sound off below.
