How Does Taylor Swift Measure Up To Annie Leibovitz’s Other Disney Pics?

I’m a little surprised this hasn’t happened before. If you think about it, Taylor Swift is the quintessential Disney princess archetype. With her tall frame and long blond locks the 23-year-old singer can easily fit in with Cinderella and Aurora. The “We’re Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer is the latest to take part in Disney Parks’ Dream Portrait series. She wore a purple and pink gown to embody Disney princess Rapunzel with the caption, “Where a world of adventure awaits.”
Once again, famed-photographer Annie Leibovitz captured the visually stunning pic for the amusement park. Using her unique vision, Leibovitz masterfully transforms well-known celebrities into famous Disney characters. The Disney Dream Portrait series started in 2007. Swift joins a long list of celebrities including Beyonce, Julie Andrews, David Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and many more. One of my favorites was last year’s Queen Latifah as The Little Mermaid’s Ursula. It was FIERCE. Check out a few other Disney transformations below.

People sometimes post this picture with this series, but I’ve never seen a caption saying who she’s supposed to be.

I’m starting to think maybe it’s just a random Leibovitz shot of Jolie, and it just gets lumped in with the Disney shots? If anyone knows, my mind could rest easy! =)

I think both little mermaids are the best. OMG live action movie, need to be made. Cinderella is pretty good to. a far as Swift’s Rapunzel, is ok.

i think the jeff bridges and penelope cruz one if awful. penelope cruz looks great but really her love interest is an old guy. thanks sexism could’ve cast somebody younger and hotter like they did with zac efron, daved beckham, roger rederer.
maybe jamie chung could be mulan or ming na who did the ovice of mulan when it first came out.

i dont think its the hunchback but just a random shot of jolie. esmeralda had a different costume and costuming is one of the big facets of this series.

Every pic is great! except that of Whoopi as the genie
and
Beyonce, Lyle, and Oliver of Alice in Wonderland!
The editing was just so-so!
I like Taylor as Rapunzel, the best.
I also like (my idol in tennis) Roger Federer as King Arthur. I want me some knights in shining armor!

Rapunzel’s, Sleeping Beauty’s, Snow White’s and Cinderalla’s are the best. Alice’s looks weird. Looks like Beyonce’s head is on a little girl’s body XD

My favorites are the Aladdin, Ursula, + Snow White.
J Lo is bronzed for the gods + I must hail the Queen. Rachel as Snow is lovely. As for Swift’s Rapunzel, it’s pretty enough, but the hair (kind of the whole point) looks too fake.
