Taylor Swift Addresses Her Reputation On New Track ‘Call It What You Want’

“My castle crumbled overnight / I brought a knife to a gunfight / They took the crown but it’s alright / All the liars are calling me one / Nobody’s heard from me for months / I’m doing better than I ever was”

Dang!!! Taylor Swift isn’t playing around. Her latest track is her deepest yet from her upcoming set. She appears to address what people have being saying about her since her album, 1989. There’s definitely plenty of material to chose from. The past couple of drama-filled years saw high-profile breakups with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, along with public feuds with Katy Perry, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and plenty more.

The track, like “Gorgeous” and “Ready For It,” seems to also reveal details about her romance with British actor, Joe Alwyn. “My baby’s fly like a jet stream / High above the whole scene / Loves me like I’m brand new so call me what you want, yeah,” she sings.

Call It What You Want” is the fourth taste off her upcoming album Reputation. The 27-year-old singer plans to release another song before her LP drops on November 10. During ABC’s TGIT lineup next week, Swift will deliver a three-minute performance to debut a new track. Until then, check out “Call It What You Want” below.
