Yesterday, Taylor Swift debuted her music video for her single “22” on Good Morning America. The single is currently at No. 44 on the Hot 100 but I’m sure with this video release, it will make its way up. Swift turned 23 years old in December of 2012 so I guess in this song and video, she’s partying like she was one year younger. You so wild & crazy, Taylor.
The song is about guy-related drama and then going out with friends to forget about it, and that the video storyline compliments that as well. In the lyrics, Swift sings, “Yeah, we’re happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time / It’s miserable and magical, Oh yeah / Tonight’s the night we forget about the heartbreak.” In the video, she hangs out with her real life best girl friends and they have a cake baking kitchen party, hang out at the beach at sunset, have a house party, and it wraps up with Swift diving into the outdoor pool fully clothed. The entire video is also framed as if it’s all Instagram.
It’s a cute video, but also annoying at the same time for some reason. It’s a little too much heart sunglasses and girlfriends soaking up each others awesomeness for me. Check it out below and let me know what you think.

Can she just stop? ERH——so opportunist and trend-like I want to vomit.

Does she have real best girlfriends? She is a super busy girl, and in her free time she is always looking for a man, does she has time for her girlfriends? She must have ditched them the minute she cashed her first million.

Cheesy. Dorky. Lame. Out of touch with reality. Wannabe white girl wasted, minus the fun alcohol. Get your life, Taylor. Sashay Away, Bitch.
