Finally the day has come. The day I can officially crush on Taylor Lautner without feeling like a creepy pedo. Launter officially moved of jail-bait territory yesterday on his 18th birthday. The former martial arts child star set a bunch of teenage girls and gay men’s hearts a-fluttering, when he exposed his chiseled abs for the Twilight sequel.

Taylor’s good looks can be attributed from his multi-ethnic ancestry. According to Wikipedia, he is mostly from Dutch, French and German descent with a bit of Native American. Though most people know him from the Twilight movies and his high-profile romance with ex Taylor Swift, he’s been around the entertainment industry since he was a child.

Having studied martial arts, karate specifically, since the age of six, helped Lautner score his first roles. When he first came out, he was known as the mini Jean-Claude Van Damne. He even was featured on “America’s Most Talented Kids” to showcase his martial art skills.

Besides the next Twilight movie, the now legal hottie has a few high profile projects along the way. Opening in theaters this weekend, Lautner is one of the many celebrities featured in the romantic comedy, “Valentine’s Day”. After that he’s set to star in “Max Steel”, “Cancun” and “Northern Lights”. In fact, his role in “Northern Lights” officially made him the highest paid teen actor currently with a pay day of 7.5 million for his services. Note to producers, to ensure big box office receipts, make sure there are tonnes of shirtless shots showcasing his cut body.

Now that Taylor is free of Taylor, the paparazzi is waiting to see which lucky lady he hooks up with next. Who knows, maybe he might pick someone from our team. Sometimes I get a strong feeling he’s a sister, but that could just be me projecting and hopefully wishing. What do you think boys? Gay or nay?
