I feel like at a certain point in spring, there was a bit of a dry spell with a lack of new/good music coming out. Lately, that is not the case. As we gear up for summer and outdoor weather, we’re all on the look out for those perfect summer songs. Well, there’s a lot to choose from and let’s hope they keep ‘em coming!

I’ve selected five songs that I have playing in my iTunes right now. One is called All The Lovers from Kylie Minogue, and that track just dropped today. It’s very Kylie and of course that means you’ll love it. Another track is from Kelis’ new EP album Flesh Tone, and the track is called 22nd Century. To be honest, I could have picked almost any of the tracks from her new album because they’re all hot and although just a short EP album, it’s definitely one of the albums of the summer.

I love when Nelly collaborates with other artists!

9. Black Eyed Peas – “Rock That Body”

This one’s been out for a while, but I actually hadn’t heard it until recently – so it’s a new one for me!

8. Nelly Furtado – “Free”

This song is super sexy and catchy! “The night is young, and so are we….”

7. Miley Cyrus – “Can’t Be Tamed

Miley’s unleashes herself in this song (and video) introducing us to a sexier and edgier Miley, burying Hannah Montana once and for all.

6. Enrique Iglesias – “I Like It”

This is actually the headline track on the Jersey Shore Soundtrack that is gonna be coming out this summer – and Enrique’s first single in a while!

5. Kelly Clarkson – “Wash, Rinse, Repeat”

This was a recently leaked song, that hasn’t been confirmed to be on her upcoming. I think it should be for sure!

4. Robyn – “Dancing On My Own”

You can never go wrong with Robyn – soooo looking forward to this album being released!

3. Kelis – “22nd Century”

As I mentioned, definitely get the whole album – Flesh Tone. You won’t regret it!

2. Katy Perry ft. Snoop Dogg – “California Girls”

Already pegged as one of the top summer songs – so hot it’ll melt your popsicle!

1. Kylie Minogue – “All The Lovers”

Can’t wait until the whole album comes out later this summer!
