The cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi– Mark Hamill, Kelly Marie Tran, John Boyega, and Daisy Ridley- attended a panel, conducted by Josh Gad, for the movie during the 2017 Star Wars Celebration at the Orange County Convention Center. Director Rian Johnson was also there. They teased fans on what to expect in the upcoming installment of the space saga.
“We go deep into Rey’s story,” Daisy during the panel. “Rey has a certain expectation of what she’s getting from Luke and what that might entail, and as many people know it’s difficult to meet your heroes because it might not be what you expect.”
To coincide with the celebration, the first teaser trailer for the film was released. As you’d expect, it’s an action-packed affair with footage of Rey training with Luke, new planets, battles and of course, BB-8. We don’t, however, see new characters played by Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran, nor of new galactic heavy played by Benicio del Toro.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives in theaters on December 15. Check out the teaser below.
