Yes, you read that right. Star Jones, whose position as a co-host on The View ended in 2006 after her contract wasn’t renewed, will actually be returning to sit with the ladies. Why is this surprising? Well, as you may recall, it didn’t end well. Jones had referred to her former coworkers, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Barbara Walters as hateful. This episode will be epic.

Here’s the thing, she’s only going to be a guest for a day this time round. Jones, who went to battle with Nene Leakes in The Apprentice, will be putting the past with The View behind her and instead focussing on a good cause. She wants to raise awareness about heart disease and talk about her involvement with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement. The campaign is important to her because she underwent successful. cardiac surgery in March of 2010. Jones will appear on the February 22 episode of the show.

Back in 2006, Jones decided to announce to everyone (live) about the fact that ABC wasn’t going to renew her contract, without giving them any warning. The next day, she was gone. Watch a clip below showing Star’s final words, then what Barbara had to say about her the very next day. Drama!

Now all we need is Rosie, Nene Leakes, Donald Trump, and we have ourselves a party!
