Tom Holland Battles Jake Gyllenhaal In ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Teaser Trailer

Everyone’s favorite friendly neighborhood superhero is venturing to a different neighborhood. He’s heading to Europe ya’ll for his next adventure. Sony Pictures just dropped the first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home and it looks good.

For the highly-anticipated sequel, Tom Holland returns to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He joins his best friends Ned (Jacob Batalon), MJ (Zendaya), and the rest of the gang for what he hopes will be a normal European vacation. We’ll that’s not going happen. Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

Jake Gyllenhaal joins the franchise as the film’s main baddie, stuntman-turned-criminal Mysterio. However, he won’t be the only villain. Reportedly, Michael Keaton’s Vulture will make another appearance. Marisa Tomei, who BTW looks amazing in the clip, also returns to reprise her role from the first film.

Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 5. Check out the trailer.
