If you’re like me and are getting confused by the two upcoming Snow White films, then this may make it a little easier for you. Relativity Media has just announced that it’s lighter take on the classic fairy-tale will now be called “Mirror Mirror”. Starring Julia Roberts, Armie Hammer (YUM!), Nathan Lane and Lily Collins, “Mirror Mirror” is sure to be a hit based on star power alone!

I love the name, but think it would’ve been a better choice for the other Snow White film.

The rival, “Snow White and the Huntsman“, stars Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth (YUM again!) and Charlize Theron. Now even though I’m not the biggest Stewart fan, I am much more excited for this adaptation than the Robert’s one strictly because of it’s “dark” nature. I mean, I’ve seen a Disney version of Snow White and I don’t need to see another one – I want a completely fresh story that’s aimed at adults.

In a smart movie by the studios, the two have chosen to spread out their openings. “Mirror Mirror” will be released on March 16, 2012 and “Snow White and the Huntsman” on June 1, 2012.
