‘Silent Hill: Revelation 3D’ Trailer Is Scary As Hell

The creepy trailer for ‘Silent Hill: Revelation 3D‘ has just been released and it look effing scary. The film is based on the survival horror video game ‘Silent Hill 3’ and is sequel to the original horror film ‘Silent Hill’, from 2006.

In this sequel, Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have been on the run for years, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Changing schools, moving to new towns, and so on. Now it’s the eve of her 18th birthday and the horrific nightmares have come back in full force and her father has disappeared. As the story unfolds, she realizes she’s not who she thought she was and she must go head to head with the evil forces she’s been running from. She must go back to Silent Hill.

In contrast to the many demonic possession and paranormal activity-type scary movies that have been popular over the past few years, this is more along the lines of your classic horror film and it’s bound to scare your pants off. Check out the trailer below. Just in time for Halloween, the film comes out on October 26.

  • The trailer looks great! I am a fan of the games and the first movie, I am looking forward to this new film.

It’s surprisingly faithful to SH3! I’m so used to movie based on video games… um… taking a lot of liberties, let’s say, and it’s nice to see one that’s just bringing a great game to life. (Okay, so it’s maybe not as great as SH2, but it’s way better than SH:Homecoming.)
