This group of recommendations will focus on items that could add some needed style to his abode or gadgets to improve the enjoyability of his home. These lightweight portable Logitech USB speakers will upgrade his notebook to stereo quality sound with just one connection to an open USB port- no other cables are necessary. With the convenient carry case, he can take them anywhere he goes. Let’s call a spade a spade, built in laptop speakers are a complete nightmare. These speakers will deliver crisp, quality sound and built in volume control will allow him to adjust the volume with ease. The V20s are compatible for both Macs and PCs. I tested them out last night on my iMac and blasted Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” and couldn’t detect any distortion. In fact, I felt more bass on my desk than I had expected. Seriously, it was sorta pimpin’. For portability, style, and quality, you can’t beat Logitech’s V20- you definitely get more bang for your buck.

  • BEST FEATURE:The multimedia controls located on top of one of the speakers. In addition, the carrying case is not too shabby.

Perfect for the city dweller, who doesn’t have all that much time for cleaning. Tell him to step away from the vacuum because this sucker’s gonna do all the work from now on. It works amazingly, cleaning under and around furniture, using its light-touch bumper to gently touch and move around each obstacle. He also won’t have to adjust from carpet to hard floor – the machine will do that automatically. There are a range of models to choose from, and can get pricey, but they are all quality! So, even if you’re looking at the least expensive model, it’s going to do a great job and the value to him of never having to vacuum again is priceless. Give him a gift that sucks.

  • BEST FEATURE: It’s a give that keeps on giving, and sucking.
  • MSRP: $129.99-$549.99

Normally, I find those charms people put on guest’s wine glasses kinda heinous. They’re usually butt ugly while trying to be elegant. Enter Beer Bands which don’t have a drop of pretension. These bands come with labels like: hammered; ripped; blitzed; hammered; and other appropriate adjectives. When you’re done identifying which beer belongs to whom, you can reuse them and place them on someone’s wrist to denote their level of intoxication.

Help him customize his home in the most innovative way – with a Wall Tattoo from Surface Collective! They are cut from a specialized vinyl that is specifically designed for home décor. Unlike standard high gloss signage vinyl, their product has a matte finish that gives a gorgeous painted look without bleeding or permanency. You can choose from several different designs, or even customize your own! Tattoo his laptop? You can do that too with Laptop Tattoos. Not only am I recommending this product, but I’m actually purchasing a couple and installing them at Brian and my new place. Keep an eye out for my article documenting that experience.

Put his Happy Hour on the rocks with a COOL Ice Bucket from Bodum. He’ll keep the crowd happy easier as everybody’s favorite drink stays icy a lot longer. It’s made from double wall borosilicate glass and is topped off with a silicone lid that comes with an integrated stainless steel pincer. The grooved silicone mat at the bottom of the bucket provides dual protection: the ice cubes don’t damage the glass when they are dropped into the bucket, and they sit on top of the mat and not in the water left behind from melted ice. Eight vibrant color choices make it an eye-catching centerpiece for any table and also ideal for chilling wine, bottled water or spirits. Available in pink, red, green, brown, grey, white, black and even Homorazzi purple.

  • BEST FEATURE: Not only are they functional but they’re extremely stylish as well.

hmm, to be honest all of these gifts are kind of superficial for the person who has everything. i think homemade gifts esp ones that include scrapbooking with personalized photos or anything homemade with your personal touch + your efforts + your time are the most invaluable and priceless gifts. do i sound like a brian? hah ; )

  • Fair enough, Bruin. But after dating 10 years, you can’t imagine how many photobooks and personal gifts I’ve made. My head hurts just from thinking about it- haha. I’m all about stimulating the economy now 🙂
