Netflix Announces ‘She-Ra’ Reboot

For the honor of Greyskull!!! She-Ra is making a comeback thanks to Netflix. The streaming service announced it’s rebooting the beloved ’80s animated series.

The trailblazing girl power icon originally debuted in 1985. Princess Adora aka She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man and defender of the Crystal Castle. With her trusty steed, Spirit, beside her, she leads a rebellion to free the planet of Etheria from tyrannical rule of Hordak.

The reboot is being described as a “modern take” on the Princess of Power. Helmed by executive producer Noelle Stevenson, the new Sher-Ra will be “a warrior princess tailor-made for today.”

She-Ra isn’t the only family-friendly animated series Netflix is introducing in 2018. Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, The Boss Baby: Back in Business, Harvey Street Kids, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants and more are coming. To learn more, head over to Deadline.
