When someone talks trash, it’s easy to fight back with equally disparaging comments. Guilty as charged here on several occasions. Taking the high road isn’t the road often taken. Not for Sharon Stone. The 59-year-old actress handled a recent controversy with style and grace.
A letter recently surfaced that Madonna wrote during the 90s. In it, Madge refers to Stone and Whitney Houston as “horribly mediocre.” “It’s so unequivocally frustrating to read that Whitney Houston has the music career I wish I had and Sharon Stone has the film career I’ll never have,” Madonna vented.
Just hours after the letter leaked online, Stone took to Facebook to respond. She declared her love for Madonna and criticized the party who leaked the “Like A Virgin” singer’s private notes. Read Stone’s eloquent response below.
