Shania Twain Declutters Her Closet In ‘Life’s About To Get Good’ Music Video

Looks like someone’s a fan of Marie Kondo, the writer who set off a decluttering craze with her best-selling book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing. Shania Twain heeds the Japanese organizing consultant’s advice for her “Life’s About To Get Good” music video.

The uplifting track is about Shania getting over the ill feelings she once had for a lover that cheated on her. She’s letting go of the hate and forgiving and forgetting. Clearly, it’s inspired by her breakup with ex-husband Robert John “Mutt” Lange. His loss honey!!!

With the help of a few sharp-dressed assistants, Twain follows Kondo’s advice and removes anything from her closet that no longer sparks joy, including a picture of Lange and Twain during happier times. Thankfully, she decides to keep her iconic outfit from her “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” visual. However, if she decided to auction it off, I’m sure it would’ve fetched a pretty penny. Some drag queen out there would’ve put out a second mortgage to get their glittery hands on that.

“Life’s About To Get Good,” along with “Poor Me,” are off the 51-year-old singer’s forthcoming fifth studio album, Now, due out September. It marks her first full-length offering in 15 years since Up was released back in 2002.

Watch below to see Twain purge her past and look optimistically towards the future. She looks fantastic BTW. Looking good is the best revenge as they say. Advice she’s clearly taken 🙂
