The 105th Grey Cup took place in Ottawa, Canada this weekend and boy was it a snowy affair. A beautiful winter wonderland served as a backdrop as the Toronto Argonauts defeated Calgary Stampeders 27-24. The Grey Cup hadn’t seen weather that bad in 21 years, but it didn’t slow down Shania Twain one bit. She turned up the heat during the halftime show.
The 52-year-old country superstar arrived to the stage via a dog sled and escorted by a team of red-suited Mounties. She performed a three-song 15-minute set without falling once and looked beautiful doing so. She rocked a form-fitting, sparky red jumpsuit accessorized by a matching red fur jacket and red fur boots. Nothing more Canadian than that.
This wasn’t Twain’s first Grey Cup performance. She previously helmed the show in Edmonton back in 2002. Check out her performance before.
