As she often does, Shakira keeps it real by releasing a Spanish version of her new single, “Can’t Remember To Forget You.” For those who were hoping to hear Rihanna belt out parts en Espanol, you’ll be disappointed. The Bajan singer is missing in action on the new version. BOO. If Celine Dion can belt out a song in Mandarin for Chinese New Year, surely RiRi can attempt a couple of verses in another tongue, especially on this catchy reggae-rock track. Don’t you agree?

As much as I love the duet, I have to say, “Nunca Me Acuerdo De Olvidarte” is even more divine. Not surprisingly, it seems more natural and breezy. Even though I’m not fluent in Spanish by any means, I kinda understand the Colombian singer much more in her native tongue, than in English. Am I the only one who thinks this? Check out the new version below.
