‘Sense8’ Gives First Look At Series Wrap-Up Movie

I’m still incensed that Netflix canceled Sense8 after only two seasons. At least the streaming service caved in when fans demanded closure. The company green-lit a movie special to wrap things up. It’s not a trailer yet, but Netflix gives your first official look at the series finale.

The two-minute featurette shows several of the cast members talking about how grateful they are that they have a chance to say good-bye. “I’m glad that the universe conspired to realign what was off center,” says Toby Onwumere.

“We are surrounded by the best quality of human beings that we could have,” declares Erendira Ibarra. “It’s been beautiful.” Tuppence Middleton adds that she “just feels like a big ball of love.”

For fans hoping for a satisfying ending, Max Riemelt promises it delivers. “I’m proud to be a part of this,” says the 33-year-old German actor, adding that he’s “happy that we can given them an end that will satisfy them.”

Check out the behind-the-scenes footage below. No date has been announced yet when Netflix plans to air the movie.
