Selena Gomez Debuts Seductive New Single ‘Fetish’

Some couples begin to dress alike after dating a while. In this case, it’s more musical tastes than wardrobe choices that are blending together. The Weeknd has clearly rubbed off on Selena Gomez. Her new track sounds in the vein of the Canadian crooner’s past offerings.

Fetish” is a seductive track with smooth synth production and an R&B vibe. It pairs really well with Gomez’s singing style. “You got a fetish for my love/ I push you out and you come right back,” she sings. “Don’t see a point in blaming you/ If I were you, I’d do me, too.” Gucci Mane then hops on to deliver a rap verse.

Selena is certainly in an experimental mood these days. Like her recent singles, “Bad Liar” and the Kygo-assisted “It Ain’t Me,” her new song is vastly different from her Revival or Stars Dance era. Personally, I like my Selena more in the pop lane, but it’s hard not to like “Fetish.” It’s solid and shows she’s maturing into an artist. Check it out below.
