Selena Gomez Heads To The 70s For ‘Bad Liar’ Music Video

Color me shocked. After being MIA in videos for Cashmere Cat’s “Trust Nobody,” Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me,” she steps back in front of the camera. I don’t know if I can handle a Selena Gomez track with Selena actually appearing in the accompanying visual 😉

Bad Liar” samples the Talking Heads’ iconic 1977 single “Psycho Killer.” Fittingly, Gomez heads to the 1970s for the music video which finds the 24-year-old singer tackling different roles. She not only plays a high school student, but her parents as well, along with the blond gym teacher who’s flirting with her principal dad. The clip ends with Gomez teasing a new single “Witness.”

Check out the Jesse Peretz-directed clip below. It’s a bit random, but I have a feeling it’s part of something bigger.
