When I first saw Sebastian Stan on the first season of Gossip Girl, I didn’t pay much attention. At that time, Chace Crawford (Nate) and Penn Badgley (Dan) held my entire attention. Over the past few years, Stan has slowly won favor with me with appearances on Once Upon A Time and in Captain America where he co-starred with Chris Evans. He then had me in heat with his gay scenes in Political Animals. With his latest gig, I’m officially a lifetime member of the Sebastian fan club.

The 29-year-old is part of the revival of William Inge’s play Picnic currently playing at the American Airlines Theater in New York. The production boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn, Maggie Grace (Lost), Mare Winningham (St. Elmos Fire) and Ben Rappaport (Hope Springs).

Sebastian’s character is a handsome young drifter named Hal whose arrival causes many of the temperatures of the town’s women to rise. I have no doubt it’s because Stan’s glistening exposed chest is on display through a good chunk of the show. Now, this is a play I want front row seats at. Check out a few of photos of Sebastian doing his thing on the Great White Way below. If you like what you see, better act fast because Picnic is tentatively running only until February 24, 2013.
