Get A Sneak Peek At “Scenes From A Gay Marriage”

I can count on my two hands the number of quality independent gay movies I’ve seen over the years. Admit it, most of them are pretty crappy, for lack of a better word. Even one of the characters in the movie trailer below confirm my sentiment. As he states, most of those gay-themed flicks on Netflix truly do suck.. and not in a good way.

I’m going out on a limb here, but “Scenes From A Gay Marriage” looks promising. Based on the movie trailer, it has heart, charm and enough pieces of eye candy to make it worthwhile checking out. All the essential ingredients for an entertaining gay film. Written and directed by Matt Riddlehover, the film deals with a gay couple and the voyeuristic impulses of their downstairs neighbor. Hell, I’d spy on them too, if my neighbors looked like that.

The 26-year-old filmmaker also stars in the film along with Jared Allman, Thashana McQuiston, Carson Nicely, Malachi Taylor, Cliff Burr, Devin Walls & Domiziano Arcangeli. That sexy Carson beast is definitely going to appear in either my Model Behavior or Man Crush feature in the coming weeks. So tasty. For weeks, Riddlehover has been teasing his fans by dropping still shots from on-set. Finally, he’s released the official trailer for his film. Check it out below.

    Check out the movie ‘Weekend’. It’s a great gay themed movie from 2011 that takes place in Nottingham UK. Very well done and not your typical gay love story.

    You must not have been to a gay film festival before if you haven’t seen many outstanding gay indie films. As a festival programmer, I can assure you that there’s quite a few there every year. But most people are not aware of them especially non-American ones.

    I meant most people are not familiar with the foreign titles. (in my last statement above)

    Oh yea Jared Allman, he was on that show on the sundance channel “girls who like boys who like boys” good reality show about fag hags and or fruit flies and their gay besties

    @Michael G

    The thing is, movies presented in most gay festivals (or any non-mainstream festival really) aren’t available of out said festivals!
    I cannot rent them at the local BlockBuster, or find them on the net (most of the time), which makes it.. complicated, to say the least! Non-commercialization = no u.

    I’ve gotta admit, though, this seems extra funny, in a creepy-witty way! I especially love the girl LOL! And all that eye-candy…
