12-Year Old Makes Impressive & Touching Anti-Bullying Video

I came across this video that was uploaded to YouTube yesterday by a 12-year-old girl named Savannah Robinson – and you should definitely watch it. The video starts off with a clip of Anderson Cooper on AC 360 talking about bullying, then transitions into clips footage of kids talking about having been bullied – even Savannah herself. From there, Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” starts to play, but it’s Savannah singing and she’s amazing! Seriously, I got chills. Here’s what the description of the video reads:

“hi, my name is savannah. i’m 12 and have been a victim of bullying. thought i’d shoot this video for all of my friends who have experienced the same, and all the other underdogs out there. let’s stand up! :-)”

I hope bullies continue to realize that they are not the “cool” ones and no one is impressed by their cowardly acts. What does impress me is a video like this where a 12-year-old girl uses her talents to stand up for others and make the world a better place. Watch the video below.

  • This is beautiful. But I can’t help but be a pessimist and say that I hope she doesn’t get picked up by a label where she is turned into another product and the original purpose of this is lost.
