Here’s a little glimpse into a rainy Saturday with me and my dog, Dani. Having gone out the previous night for a few drinks with friends, Dani and I wake up at around noon. I really look forward to the weekends when I can sleep in and don’t have to wake up at 7am like I have to during the week. I’m sure Dani doesn’t mind staying in bed a little longer… he loves to snuggle under the duvet.

Noon – Breakfasts are in order. I just recently switched Dani’s food from Innova to FROMM’s Whitefish & Potato. He loves the new food and wants to eat first thing as soon as he’s up. So he gets a bowl of Whitefish & Potato and I have coffee & a cinnamon roll. Yummy!

1pm to 2pm – I sort some laundry and load up the washer while we lay on the couch (Dani lays snuggled up beside me) and watch an episode of Cougar Town & a few other shows that I’ve recorded earlier this week.

3pm to 4pm – Go to the grocery store and pick up some stuff to make a late lunch. I’m thinking Thai green chicken curry and some wild mushroom cous cous. I make lunch while Dani takes his afternoon nap and watch more TV.

5pm – Showertime for me but first I have to give Dani a bath. He doesn’t really hate baths, he usually just stands there and shakes spraying water all over me and the tub LOL.

6pm – Time for Dani’s dinner and another short nap after his eats.

I usually spend my weekends with Dani since during the week I drop him off in the mornings and he gets to hang out with my ex all day. He’s never left alone at home for any long period of time. Lucky dog! He is my best friend and I love him a lot. :)
