Just this week, The CW renewed The 100 for a sixth season. The news wasn’t so kind for the network’s other remaining on-the-bubble shows.
Lucy Hale’s first post Pretty Little Liars vehicle Life Sentence received the dreaded axe. Not a surprise given its anemic 500,000 total viewers and 0.15 demo rating. The 28-year-old tweeted her disappointment.

Valor, starring Matt Barr and Christina Ochoa as co-pilots caught up in an international conspiracy, also failed to secure a Season 2 renewal. Barr shouldn’t be too bummed. He’s the lead in one of the network’s pilot, Skinny Dip.
On a more positive note, NBC decided to continue with its midseason comedy, A.P. Bio. The series isn’t exactly a ratings hit. The recently-aired season finale only pulled 2.1 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating. However, the peacock network claims the show has “one of the most highly educated audiences” on broadcast television. Spin, spin, spin!!!
Netflix was also in a giving mood. Santa Clarita Diet received a Season 3 renewal. The horror-comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant wil return in 2019 with ten more episodes.
Do you watch any of the aforementioned shows? Bummed/excited by any of the renewals/cancellations? The only one I watch is Santa Clarita Diet. Enjoyed the first season and only midway through the second. Weigh in below.
