I guess when you’re Netflix’s $300 Million Dollar Man, padding your sizeable bank account isn’t necessarily a top priority. Ryan Murphy is giving back and in a big way.
The 52-year-old producer announced he’s donating all the profits from his upcoming FX series, Pose, to charitable organizations benefiting Transgender and LGBTQ communities.
I am donating 100 percent of my profits from my new FX show POSE towards trans and LGBTQ charitable organizations. These groups do amazing work and need our support. Every day for the next 14 days I will highlight a group I'm supporting, and encourage you to do the same!

Set in 1986, Pose examines the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York City: the emergence of the luxury Trump-era universe, the downtown social and literary scene and the ball culture world.
The series made headlines and history even before a single scene was shot. Producers assembled the largest transgender cast of series regulars ever– Hailie Sahar, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, Angelica Ross, and M.J. Rodriguez.
The period drama also stars Dawson’s Creek alum James Van Der Beek, House of Card’s Kate Mara, Murphy mainstay Evan Peters, Kinky Boots star Billy Porter, Ryan Jamaal Swain and Dyllon Burnside.
Pose sashays on FX Sunday, June 3. Check out the trailer below.
