Russell Tovey was arguably the best, and only good thing, about the second season of Quantico. The FBI drama definitely lost its mojo for its sophomore run. After a new showrunner was hired, the Priyanki Chopra series received an eleventh-hour renewal from ABC.
After mysteriously and abruptly exiting Quantico midway through last season, Tovey will return and as a series regular to boot. His character Harry Doyle was last shown with his former Farm classmate Sebastian (David Lim) holding a gun towards him. His fate was never really confirmed either way… until now.
Tovey joins original stars Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Johanna Braddy and Season 2 addition Blair Underwood as series regulars. Marlee Matlin also joins the show’s ranks as Jocelyn Turner, a former FBI agent who was known at one time to be the best undercover agent but was rendered deaf in the field.
Are you still watching Quantico? Excited that Tovey is back? Hopefully his character gets a lot more bedroom action this time around.
