RuPaul’s Drag Race Alums Film ‘Woman’s World’ Homage

To tell the “trooooooooth” (in Cher’s voice), I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner. It’s a match made in heaven.

LOGO enlisted some of the more popular alums of RuPaul’s Drag Race to film a music video for Cher’s latest dance hit “Woman’s World.” Naturally, Chad Michaels is front and center since she’s most known for her Cher impersonations. The All-Stars winner channels the dance diva by wearing her infamous attention-grabbing Academy Awards outfit.

Joining Michaels in the clip are Shangela, Manila Luzon, Willam and Alyssa Edwards. Both Shangela and Manila look to Cher’s music videos for inspiration, picking looks from her “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe” clips. Alyssa serves up Mermaids Cher realness, while Willam goes old school, harkening back to the 67-year-old icon’s “Half-Breed” era. Check out the homage visual below.

Oooh! Courtney Act filmed for this too but she’s not in the final edit! Looks like Logo is trying to save her for Drag Race. She’s going to win the season but maybe they’re worried people would think she’d have an unfair advantage appearing in this.
