RuPaul’s Drag Race: Meet The All-Star Cast

After months of speculation from fans and weeks of teasing from Logo, the first RuPaul’s All-Star Drag Race cast has finally been announced. Sister versus sister. Squirrel friend versus squirrel friend. May the ultimate battle begin.
Twelve of RuPaul’s favorite girls are back to vie for the title of America’s favorite drag superstar. Season 3 has the most representation with Manila Luzon, Alexis Mateo, Mimi Imfurst and Yara Sofia all returning. Both Season 1 and 2 have three each with Shannel, Nina Flowers and Tammie Brown from the inaugural season and Pandora Boxxx, Raven and Jujubee from the second one. The recently completed fourth season only has a couple of competitors, but fabulous ones at that. Finalist Chad Michaels and Miss Congeniality winner Latrice Royale have signed on. I’m just glad that Shangela isn’t coming back for a third time ;)

Seeing Raja compete against Sharon Needles would have made this but I understand it’d be unfair for previous winners to be dethroned by one of the runners up from their season. Mimi Imfurst is strictly there for drama because that bitch was a hot mess and while I would have loved (they call this queen) Mariah to have been included I can see the entertainment potential in keeping Mimi. If the season is only running 6 episodes you’d imagine two queens get the chop a week. Tammie, Pandora and Mimi will be out the door early. Tammie’s drag isn’t suited to Drag Race. Raven will be one of the ones to beat but I have a sneaking suspicion that Yara might take it out.

MIMI IMWURST? REEALLLY?
But I would’ve loved seeing any combo of Mariah, Willam, Jiggly, Dida Ritz, or Lashauwn Beyond replace Mimi and Tammie Brown. Hell even The Princess interested me a bit more.

I’m surprised Mimi was included but I’m guessing she got in to bring drama… she was a hot mess in season 3. Anyway, I’m rooting for Manila Luzon – I still feel that she was robbed in season3. I’m guessing Shangela’s in this season as well. At least on the first episode where she’ll pop out of a giant pink box screaming hallelu. I’m happy that Phi Phi wasn’t included, she’d be eaten alive by the other queens. I was hoping Willam would be at the All Stars too, but if she was I bet she’d be disqualified after a few episodes after she pukes on Ru’s stage. Hmmm. Since I’ve not seen season 1 and 2 and unfamiliar with some of the queens I’m kinda looking forward to this season.
