Roger Moore Dead At 89 Years Old

English actor Sir Roger Moore passed away in Switzerland at the age of 89-years-old. The actor, author and UNICEF ambassador died after what his family called a “short but brave battle with cancer.”

Moore was the third man to play the British secret agent James Bond after Sean Connery and George Lazenby. He played 007 in seven films from Live and Let Die (1973) to A View to a Kill (1985). My favorites during his 007 days were For Your Eyes Only (1981) and Octopussy (1983). In addition to the suave spy, he’s best known for playing Simon Templar in the television series The Saint between 1962 and 1969.

During his lifetime he was married four times and has three children. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
