R&B crooner Robin Thicke is set to release his newest album Love After War this December (just in time for holiday shopping) and has just released his newest single from the forthcoming album. It’s called Pretty Lil’ Heart and features long time collaborating partner, Lil Wayne. We know that these two can make musical magic with previous hits like Shooter, Tie My Hands and All Night Long.
The two are back together showing off what they do best. This track produces some serious swagger as Robin sings, “don’t worry your pretty lil’ heart, baby you got me.” I love that this track reminds me of why I love Thicke’s music in the first place. His vocals are smooth and the backing track is simple with little orchestral surprises to fill in the blanks. We’ve already heard the title track to the album so I can only imagine that the entire record is going to smash. Give the newest jam a listen below and tell us what you think.
You can pick up Robin Thicke’s new album Love After War on December 6. But, if you don’t want to buy it right away, make sure you put it on your Christmas wish list. Now, turn the lights down low, spark a few candles and enjoy this track again.
