My, oh my. Rita Ora cleans up pretty nicely. The 22-year-old singer is serving major eleganza for her fashion editorial for Elle magazine’s Women In Music issue. I’m not sure if her cover is an alternate to Adele’s stunningly beautiful one, but I’m loving it, whatever its purpose.
Ora is gorgeous with her signature red lips and floral head piece. You can’t see her footwear here, but she has on a pair of super hot thigh-high boots. Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman would be jealous. There’s also another cover where she dons mouse ears. It’s whimsical yet sexy. Minnie Mouse watch out, I’m sure Mickey would spring a boner after checking out the “How We Do (Party)” singer. Joe Zee did a spectacular job of styling the shoot. Well done.
Read a few quotes from her interview below, along with photos snapped by Thomas Whiteside.
On Her Childhood Idols The Spice Girls
“I just remember watching them – not even meeting them – and I was completely mesmerized. It feels great to meet someone who is not human, but is.”
On Her Label Dictating Her Music
“That should never be allowed! It’s like somebody telling you what to sing.”
On Meeting Jay-Z In 2009
“I didn’t think in a million years that I’d fly to New York to meet one of the biggest music moguls of our time.”
On Her MTV EMA Marchesa Dress
“I went up to [Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman] and said, ‘Hi, I’m Rita. Nice to meet you. I need to wear your dress.’ She was like, ‘What dress?’ They’ve got 10 million dresses. I said, ‘Look, I have your dress as the screen saver on my phone. This red dress needs to be on my body.’”
