It’s been six long years since her debut album. Over the years, multiple announcements and teases about a followup have followed. Earlier this week, Rita Ora announced her oft-delayed sophomore album, now titled Phoenix, will arrive on November 23. I honestly thought the day would never come.
Even though “Your Song” and “Anywhere” will be included on the LP, “Let Me Love You” is being dubbed the lead single. The track is an anthemic emo banger where Ora sings about the state of her relationship.
“I should’ve stayed with you last night / Instead of going out to find trouble / That’s just trouble (yeah) / I think I run away sometimes / Whenever I get too vulnerable / That’s not your fault (yeah),” she yearns.
