The sexy Ricky Martin has found himself on the cover himself of April’s issue of The Advocate, looking as hot as ever. The latin pop star relocated to New York this past winter with his partner and twin sons, Matteo and Valentino. The reason for the move is because Ricky is starring in the Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Evita‘ musical where he will play the role of “Che”.

In The Advocate‘s article titled “Oh, Ricky!“, we learn more about his upbringing, dealing with fame, coming out, and a whole lot more. After he had come out, a straight father once tweeted him and said that Ricky coming out allowed him to better understand his son. “I wrote, ‚’Sir, you just made my day. Go and hug your child,’” explains Ricky to the magazine.

We also learn a little more about his partner, Carlos Gonzalez Abella, who is a financial analyst / stock broker. “I think he’s so sexy. He’s very smart. That is such a turn-on,” Martin laughs. “He leaves the house every day in a suit and tie and that is so sexy. It’s two different worlds—his and mine. I know as much about his world as he knows about my world, which makes it really cool.” Check out the magazine cover as well as a couple other pictures below.

So crazy that this is his first Advocate interview. After reading the article, I’m excited to see that he can join some of the other famous faces that we can start to call gay role models. He came out late, but his journey is inspiring to me and the fact that he and his partner are now raising a family just makes me so happy. “I was looking for a boyfriend and God gave me a family,” says Ricky. Awww!
