If you’re a fan of Camille Grammer and Brandi Glanville then I have some good news and bad news for you. First, let’s start with the former Mrs. Kelsey Grammer. As previously reported, Camille decided not to return for a third round of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills“. Camille’s reluctance to include her relationship with the six-packed ab Greek Adonis she’s shacking up with, was the reason the show’s producers and her parted ways.
I, like many RHOBH fans, couldn’t stand Camille after Season 1 and would’ve gladly watched her ride off in the Malibu sunset. What a difference a season makes for the former “Most Hated Housewife in America”. When it was announced she wasn’t coming back for Season 3, there was an outcry, that the now super likeable Camille wasn’t coming back, even from former enemy Kyle Richards.
Well, thankfully all that has changed. Reports say Camille is coming back to film some cameo appearances. One of which occurred this past weekend over at Kyle Richard’s party for her daughter Portia. Grammer attended the event and got along famously with everyone. Even if it is in a smaller capacity, I’m glad we haven’t bid adieu permanently to Camille. Now, onto Brandi’s status on the show.
For Season 2, Brandi Glanville along with Dana Wilkey joined the cast as “Friends of the Housewives” instead of full-fledged ones. Unlike Wilkey though, Brandi became a hit with viewers, prompting the producers to upgrade her to a series regular for Season 3. Even though reports claimed the Richards’ sisters threatened to leave the show if that happened, Andy Cohen and co. knew it was the right thing to do. Brandi is reality television goldmine. She’s unfiltered, doesn’t take herself too seriously and gorgeous.
So, when it was confirmed Brandi would be getting her own intro in the credits, everyone was happy. Well, that was short-lived. Just a few days into filming, RadarOnline.com is reporting Bravo has degraded Glanville back to “Friends of the Housewives”. Why? It’s not because of lack of drama or Kyle Richards. Instead it’s due to her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and new wife Leann Rimes.
The two reportedly won’t allow Brandi to put her two sons on the show. With producers wanting to expand Brandi’s storyline beyond social gatherings and include her two boys, the promotion to full-time Housewife was taken back. BOO. Oh, well. At least Brandi will still be stirring up drama. Too bad Cibrian and Rimes are being losers about the whole thing. I would’ve loved to seen and heard Brandi’s part during the opening credits.
Are you a fan of RHOBH? Glad to see Camille coming back? Upset Brandi isn’t a full-time Housewife? Or are you on Team Richards? Sound off below.
