It’s Monday, Monday…
After the worldwide success of her single “Friday,” which everyone loved (or loved to hate), Rebecca Black has finally released a follow up track and music video called “My Moment.” As you probably already gathered from the title, Black sings about her “moment” in the spotlight and rise to fame.
In the video, we see clips of Black singing in the studio, walking the red carpet, riding with her friends in her limo, signing autographs, getting her makeup done – you know – “Stars, they’re just like us”. LOL. A little past the halfway mark of the video, she walks into the dance studio and breaks it down with her pals. A lot of the lyrics speak to all of her haters, because in the end, she still wins. They also speak to all those aspiring YouTube stars out there. You too can have a campy song and video that will make you famous – all you have to do is believe in yourself. LOL. This slower song will do nowhere as well as “Friday” did. I prefer the “fun, fun, fun” Rebecca Black, as opposed to the serious, inspirational one.

Did you notice Kent, Robert and Adechike from SYTYCD during the dance part of her video? Started noticing them around 1:50. It was a fun surprise. :-)
