Now, I don’t watch the Ellen Degeneres show. While I think she’s a great role model for lezzies out there and that her wife- Portia De Rossi- is a total bombshell and hilarious actress, the show’s constant “dance breaks” are just too much for me. Patrick, I ‘m sure loves it, and I know my muscled friends Chad and Jeff adored being at the live taping… Hell, they came back with monogrammed underwear from the thing!

BUT, today, while getting ready for class, I decided to turn my computer off for the first time in 2 weeks and turn on my TV (what an old fashioned way to watch shows, I know!). What I found was nothing short of amazeballs itself. The “ladies” (I use that word generously) of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” were the guests… Let’s start out by saying that I LOVE these crazies. Not only do they have access to millions, but they do it while tearing at each other’s weaves/wigs/and press-on nails. This being the Ellen show, I expected them to throw nerf balls into the audience to raise money to defeat Prop 8 or something… but that is NOT what I saw!

This clip is a bit long, but the action starts basically in the first minute as the two most polar and dramatic of the housewives go AT IT and start dropping uncensored B-bombs to the point that Ellen has to finally stop marveling at the perfect storm of girl-on-girl action occurring in front of her and actually involve herself in the cat fight!

And, yes, this is what the show is like. It’s sheer ghetto-fabulous perfection.
(You can skip the final “musical chairs” stuff if you don’t know the wives, it’s not all that interesting unless you do ;)
