She’s been on The View panel causing controversy since 2014, but not for much longer. Raven-Symoné announced she’s leaving the daytime talk show to reprise her most memorable role. The 30-year-old actress revealed the Disney Channel has commissioned a sequel series to That’s So Raven which ran from 2003-2007.
“Raven’s brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel’s success around the world. Her performance in That’s So Raven is timeless,” said Adam Bonnett, Disney Channel’s EVP Original Programming, said in a statement. “We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we’re looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family.”
Her psychic character will now be a divorced mom of tweens, one of which has inherited her talent for seeing into the future. Not only will Raven be starring in the sequel, but she’s also producing it.
