Season 2 of Queer Eye is arriving sooner than expected. Netflix announced new episodes, eight in fact, will arrive on June 15, 2018. When the streaming service renewed the reality series, I assumed the new Fab Five wouldn’t be gracing our screens until late 2018 at the earliest. Christmas just came early!!!
“This season, the Queer Eye Fab Five return to the Georgia heartland, forging connections with communities from a wide array of backgrounds and beliefs often contrary to their own, touching on everything from self-love and faith, to immigration and how to make the perfect homemade poke bowls and more.”
If you found yourself getting emotional during Season 1, better stock up on those tissue boxes. Season 2 promises to tug at the heartstrings even more. Also, the series will feature “the show’s first female and first trans male subjects.”
Bobby Berk (interior design), Karamo Brown (culture), Tan France (fashion), Antoni Porowski (food and wine) and Jonathan Van Ness (grooming) sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the upcoming season. They also grace the publication’s Summer Preview issue. Check out the cover below and a clip.
